Beautiful Curls Conditioner

Things have been crazy here and I have been falling behind on my blogging. But my quest to find less harmful products continues! I have been trying out different conditioners for a while now and FINALLY found one that gets the job done well!

I am blessed/cursed with thick wavy/curly/frizzy hair. For years I refused to use conditioner because it was so hard to rinse out. I finally listened to the advice of my other textured-hair friends and realized the reason my hair frizzes is because it is so dry! Many of the "natural" conditioners I have tried left my hair feeling very heavy or greasy. So I thought I would try something meant for curly hair!

Curl Activating Shea Butter Leave-In Conditioner

Beautiful Curls makes a variety of products. I tried the Curl Activating Shea Butter Leave-In Conditioner which I found at Whole Foods. The first few times I used it I just followed the directions--which left my hair feeling really sticky. Then I started just giving my hair a really quick rinse while combing the conditioner through with a wide-toothed comb and it left my hair feeling amazing! My hair really does look curlier/wavier and I don't have to put nearly as much product in to keep it from frizzing. It also feels so much softer! Plus the conditioner smells super yummy. Can't wait to try more products by this brand!
